This home visit is the first step in assessing your design needs and in developing a plan to accomplish them. It is required before any subsequent room plans, consultations, accessorizing or contractor referrals can be made and before furnishings (furniture, flooring, carpets, window treatments, accessories, etc.) can be ordered.
Design Consultation
$95.00/hr
With the preliminary home visit completed, together we can consider specific areas to focus on such as paint, furniture, room arranging, flooring, hardware window treatments, accessories, etc. This consultation may take place in your home and/or in a place of business, such as a flooring store. It can also help solidify your project plan and explore such matters as scheduling and deciding the order in which certain phases will be completed.
Room Plans
$350.00
I will draw a room plan(s) to scale that will include furniture suggestions and placement, window treatments, flooring, wall colors, fabric selection, bedding, etc. Should you decide to purchase the suggested items you will not be charged for follow-up visits for that room project.
Utilizing What You Have
$150.00/hr
This entails using what you already have in the home. Existing furniture, mirrors, art work and accessories can all be rearranged to achieve the "look" that you're after.
Shopping and Accessorizing
I will personally shop for the accessories you need without an hourly charge. Instead, I will mark up the items reasonably to cover my time, travel and expertise.
Referrals
I am happy to provide you with contact information for tradesmen that I know and trust. I accept no compensation from these contractors and urge you to interview several of them and obtain competitive bids for the work.
